Nouji
Nouji, a female baby western lowland gorilla, was just six months old when she arrived at Ape Action Africa. Orphaned by the illegal bushmeat trade, and with a bullet in her foot from the gun that had killed her family, Nouji had undoubtedly suffered terrible trauma. But she quickly responded positively under the expert watch of our most experienced gorilla caregiver. Nouji is now thriving and happy and we are thrilled with her progress.
