Sponsor an ape

We have over 280 primates in our care, who all need food, shelter, and medicines. Chimps and gorillas can live for 50 years so we have a long-term commitment to them, and you can help us take care of them by sponsoring one of our orphans and becoming involved in their lives with regular updates, watching them grow into their new family groups.

By sponsoring an ape you can get directly involved in conservation and make a difference where it counts. If you’re struggling to find a gift for someone, sponsorship for them is a great idea! When you sponsor an ape you will receive:

  • A certificate of sponsorship

  • An annual update on your sponsored animal

  • A subscription to our e-newsletters

  • The personal reward of making a difference to an individual ape

When you come to check-out you can elect to 'go green' and receive the sponsor pack electronically, helping conserve our planet’s resources and minimise costs for Ape Action Africa, or have a printed version of the pack sent via the post.
